You may apply to our Pacific Program in Oahu, Hawaii, July 21-31, 2017 by filling in our application below and completing the following steps:
1. A completed application (form below). You must have a gmail account to access this form. If you do not and do not want to create one, simply email us using our contact form and we will send you a document version of the application. Thank you!
2. A letter of recommendation preferably from a science teacher or another high school teacher. Email to firstname.lastname@example.org
3. An up-to-date transcript from all high school work completed to date (must include 1st semester). Email to email@example.com
4. A $50 application fee. You may pay the fee on our secure server online here or write a check payable to Ocean Matters, 129 Rockmeadow Road, Uxbridge, MA 01569. This fee is for a service and is not tax-deductible.
Candidates will be selected on a rolling-admissions basis. All applications must be in by April 1, 2017.
A limited amount of scholarship is available for students who demonstrate both need and merit. To apply, supply a video that is no longer than 3- minutes and features why you would be a great candidate for this scholarship and why you feel the ocean matters along with a recommendation letter from a teacher addressing both your merit and financial need.
Videos are due by March 1st, 2017. Upload your video to a free google photos account. Once uploaded, click “share” and enter firstname.lastname@example.org.
